“We have reached a place where every narrator is reliably unreliable”

Every generation, it seems, has to come to terms with what feels like an honest means of negotiating subjectivities;

Wassilak

Althusser used the word ‘interpellation’ , ‘means of inducting each other into myriad wild microsubjectivities’

Le Guin intersubjectivity not interaction

Mutual phase locking AKA Entrainment

In my own practice titles such as

Finding a Voice in the Crowd

The Tongue was a Rudder…

I’m Spartacus

Can be read as manipulations and play with authorial statements. More recent work prods this overtly, referencing truth values/judgements/binaries which are formed upon cracked and scarred territiories.

Writing and words are important as a material but I still aim for them to abstain from taking the podium. They are a language which exists with and within other languages/materials/media but are not the blood.

Without words does practice dissipate ?
